Good Product

This is a good product. I have my UniFi system going for a month now and it works very nice.

WAP ALL THE THINGS

I replaced an Asus RT-N56U and a wifi extender with this (and a USG and a US-8-150W), and I'm already pretty blown away by how much better this works. It's currently sitting in the far corner of my basement, and we get decent signal 2 floors up and on the other side; when I finally mount it where I intend to - in the literal middle of the house - I expect I'll see great coverage everywhere in the building. While I don't know which unit contributed most to this - i.e., this, the USG, the US-8 switch, or some combination thereof - I went from ~30 to 40 mbps on my devices to maxing out (or exceeding) my WAN's available bitrate. Setup was super-straightforward, and (along with the Unifi Controller, which I'm running in a Docker container on my server) it's incredibly powerful. It's more involved than a basic router/AP combo unit, but the configurability, stats/logs make this pretty damn awesome.

Excellent product!

Very happy with this purchase. Range is great! Better than Cisco WAP371. Speed is better too. Setup was pretty simple for just one AP. Also tried the centralized administration, which took a bit of fiddling, but got it working within about an hour or so.
