The unit looks amazing, fancy-looking display on the front and easy to use. Furthermore, the price point is very interesting compared to the smaller version that is only the Unifi Controller.
It comes with the new Unifi Protect, which will eventually fully replace Unifi Video NVR software. Although the GUI looks slick, you can't schedule recordings. Unlike Unifi Video, which allowed to simply record when a camera registers movement, Unifi Protect will record 24/7 and only place a visual marker on your timeline when there is a movement. This will cause the internal HDD to fill up pretty rapidly and will require much time to clean up recordings (which is still buggy).
Last point of attention is that the unit does not come with a USB power adapter nor with a PoE adapter, so make sure you have your own power source (such as a PoE switch).
